Too Many Vendors.
Too Many Promises.
Still No Clarity?
Impact Crux is your Retail Tech Architect — I help Malaysian retailers diagnose what’s actually broken, then choose the right systems without vendor bias. Free to talk; I’m paid only when a genuine match proceeds with a partner who passed my published standards.
“I am not a vendor. I own the results.”
What’s not working in your retail business?
Pick the one that sounds like your week — each goes straight to how we’d approach it.
“My store, Shopee and TikTok stock counts never match.”
Separate stock counts guarantee an oversell eventually — usually on your busiest day. That’s an architecture problem, not a discipline problem.
“I don’t know if I should replace my system or fix it.”
Replacing a workable system is expensive; keeping an unconnectable one is more expensive slowly. That’s a diagnosis, and it belongs before any demo.
“E-invoicing is exposing a bigger problem.”
The mandate forces structured records from every channel — which is most of what an integrated stack needs anyway. Patch it once, or fix it once.
“I can’t see who my repeat customers are.”
If the customer who bought five times looks identical to the one who bought once, loyalty can’t be rewarded — or even measured.
“I keep getting quotes I can’t compare.”
When one quote is dramatically lower, the savings are usually lines that are missing, not cheaper. Here’s where they hide.
“Something else is hurting.”
Tell me what’s actually breaking, in your own words. The first conversation is free, and there’s no pitch.
The Crux Method
The problem is not always the system. Sometimes it’s the process, the people, or the mindset. Our job is finding out which — before you spend a single ringgit.
Listen
No audit forms. No discovery invoice. A real conversation about how your business actually runs — what you’re selling on which channels, which one is dropping, where stock keeps running out, and what your current POS, CRM, or ERP is quietly failing to tell you. The problem you walk in with is rarely the one we find.
Filter
We map what you actually need against what exists in the Malaysian market — including options our partners don’t cover. Every vendor says theirs is the best. We’re the yardstick that has no product in the race. If the honest answer is “keep what you have and fix the process,” that’s the answer you get.
Connect
Only when a change is genuinely justified do we introduce a vetted partner — one whose work we’d stake our name on. And we stay involved after the introduction, because accountability shouldn’t end when the contract is signed.
Roughly 7 in 10 conversations end with me recommending no purchase at all.
Most of the time the problem isn’t the system — it’s the process around it, or the mindset running it. Fixing those is free advice. I only earn on the three in ten where a genuine match exists.
Free to talk. We earn only when you proceed with a vetted partner — and because our name rides on that outcome, we stay accountable long after the introduction.
Get an independent second opinionI own the results.”
I spent years in business development watching retailers get sold the wrong solutions — not because vendors were dishonest, but because nobody stopped to ask the right questions first.
Impact Crux exists because I was tired of seeing good businesses waste money and time on tools that didn’t fit. I built a network of vetted partners across every layer of the retail stack — so when I sit with you, I already know what’s available, what works, and what to avoid for your specific situation.

How I stay on your side while being paid by partners
Fair question, so here’s the model in the open. I earn a partnership fee when a genuine match proceeds — and three rules keep that honest. The vetting standards are published, and every partner had to pass them. No partner pays to be recommended over another, ever. And I’m free to recommend nothing: roughly 7 in 10 conversations end exactly that way. Where my network runs deep, options compete on fit; where it holds one name, I’ll say so — and if that name doesn’t fit you, I’ll help you look elsewhere, unpaid. My name is worth more than any single fee.
