I don’t sell software and I don’t hold one product — and often the honest answer is to fix a process, not buy anything.

Yes — advisory conversations are free. I earn a partnership fee only when a genuine match proceeds with a partner who passed my published standards, and three rules keep that honest: no partner pays to be recommended over another, none can demand exclusivity, and I’m free to recommend nothing at all. No partner pays to be placed or ranked, and where I only have one option in a category I’ll tell you plainly and help you look elsewhere, unpaid. The standards every partner had to pass are published so you can check them yourself.

A vendor recommends their own product — it’s the only one they have. I don’t have one to sell. I hold a bench of vetted partners and match each client to genuine fit; if none fit, I’ll say so. In core systems like POS and ERP I work with several partners, so recommendations compete on fit, not on who I happen to know.
